Spring Awakening Opening Night - May 28, 2015

I  am so proud of this production. We have opening night tonight of Spring Awakening. This cast, these musicians, the crew, this creative team, are a special bunch and each so extremely talented. It is a privilege to share the stage with them every night and be creative with one another. I have been very lucky to be a part of some very brilliant pieces of theater from the very beginning stages such as The Last Five Years, A Light in the Piazza, Wicked, Next To Normal. Even though this is a revival, it is being done in an entirely new and beautiful way. I am confident you will be hearing more about this production. It is something special. ‪

The show runs till June 7, 2015.  Don't miss out on this special show! Tickets are still available, click here for information.

Christian Hebel in Spring Awakening 2015 Los Angeles

Christian Hebel will be performing onstage in  the Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening for a limited 22-performance engagement Thursday, May 21 to Sunday, June 7, 2015 (press opening May 28) in the Bram Goldsmith Theater at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles.

Book and Lyrics by Steven Sater/Music by Duncan Sheik/ Directed by Michael Arden

Based on Frank Wedekind’s controversial 1891 expressionist play and featuring an electrifying score, Spring Awakening follows the lives of a group of adolescents as they navigate their journey from adolescence to adulthood in a fusion of morality, sexuality and rock & roll. Deaf West Theatre’s innovative new production of the Tony Award-winning musical - performed simultaneously in American Sign Language and spoken English by a cast of 25 - was heralded as an “emotional triumph” by the Los Angeles Times and enjoyed a sold-out engagement at downtown L.A.'s Rosenthal Theatre in the fall of 2014.

Tickets are now on sale.  Tickets are $19 - $99 and are available at www.thewallis.org or by calling 310-746-4000 or in person at The Wallis Ticket Services located at 9390 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90210
