So thrilled to go back out on tour with Barbara!
We are closing 2016 with some huge shows, and also taping a concert DVD and TV special. It's always great to play her phenomenal music, and outstanding arrangements as her solo violinist. Looking forward to these shows and hanging with Barbra and the band and our crew!

Barbra Streisand Encore: Movie Partners sing Broadway
Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working with Barbra Streisand on her new album ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, featuring 10 new Streisand duets of Broadway classics with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. The inspired new musical pairings on this CD album include Alec Baldwin, Antonio Banderas, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Seth MacFarlane, Melissa McCarthy, Chris Pine, Daisy Ridley, Patrick Wilson, and a spectacular virtual duet with Anthony Newley. I am so excited for everyone to hear this wonderful CD.

Recording at Barbra Streisand Scoring Stage
Had a thrilling week in the studio with Barbra Streisand. We recorded at Sony Studios on the Barbra Streisand Scoring Stage. I do a lot of work on this stage but it's not often you get to record with the person the scoring stage is named for.

This is my fifth album I've had the pleasure of working on with Barbra and she sounds as beautiful as ever. We got to play the exquisite arrangements of Bill Ross under his baton with the brilliant Walter Afanasieff producing. The entire group of LA musicians sound gorgeous on these arrangements. It was a true thrill.

Christian has been in the studio the past few months recording Barbra's latest album which will be released on September 16, 2014. Pre-order the album now at Amazon.com and iTunes .
Columbia Records has announced the upcoming release of Barbra Streisand’s “Partners” album, to debut on September 16th, 2014, featuring 12 inimitable new Streisand duets with the world’s greatest male vocalists.
Barbra took to Instagram on August 11th to announce to the world the official September 16th release date for “Partners.” All those who pre-order the album will receive a new downloadable song “New York State Of Mind,” with Billy Joel. The Lionel Richie duet of the classic “The Way We Were” will be also be made available to pre-ordering fans on August 26. The third Instant Grat track, the Michael Bublé duet “It Had To Be You,” - will be downloadable via pre-order on September 2.
The inspired new musical pairings on “Partners” include, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, Jason Gould, Josh Groban, Billy Joel, John Legend, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Blake Shelton, Stevie Wonder and a breathtaking virtual duet with the King of rock n’ roll, Elvis Presley. The new album, which is executive produced by Barbra and Jay Landers, is produced by ‘Babyface’ and Walter Afanasieff.
